About NYBAP

The Network of Young Bangladeshi American Professionals (NYBAP) is a national organization targeted at young professionals in the beginning and middle stages of their careers. NYBAP's founders saw the need for a network uniting young professionals from all walks of life to exchange professional experience and foster career development. Currently, NYBAP members represent a wide variety of industries including Finance, Law, Marketing, Consulting and Medicine.

Rasheq co-founded NYBAP in 2001 along with several other Bangladeshi American professionals in the New York area. Disappointed with the original focus of NYBAP, he relaunched the organization in August 2005 with an emphasis on creating networking and career development opportunities for young Bangladeshi American professionals.

Rasheq heads the NYBAP Organizing Committee. He focuses on building strategic partnerships with like-minded Bangladeshi American organizations in order to provide meaningful knowledge sharing, social and cultural opportunities for NYBAP members.
